Anastasia Egorova

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, violinist and singer Anastasia Egorova began her musical training at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire before moving to the UK as a teenager. She continued her studies at prestigious institutions, including the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Kent Academy of Music, shaping a dynamic and versatile career across multiple genres.

With both a BMus(Hons) and MMus in advanced violin performance, Anastasia has built an expansive career spanning classical, contemporary, rock, jazz, indie, pop, and folk. Her experience ranges from intimate indie recording sessions to large-scale orchestral performances at world-class venues such as the Barbican and the Royal Festival Hall.

A talented singer-songwriter, Anastasia blends her classical training with modern creativity. She has collaborated with acclaimed artists including Harry Mold, Gabriela Eva, Jasper Trim, Mike Trim, Mathis Saunier, Tom Toomey, and Abel MGE, contributing to various writing and recording projects. She is also a member of the Franco-Swiss rock band Mauvais Sang, performing as both a violinist and vocalist at concerts and festivals across France. Their latest EP, La Flore, was recently released, with a UK tour planned for 2025.

Beyond her collaborative projects, Anastasia remains committed to the classical side of her career through her piano trio, Elvira Trio, which regularly performs at competitions and gala concerts for the UK Friends of the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Foundation. In addition, as a member of the Guildhall Session Orchestra, she frequently records film scores and contemporary works, most recently contributing to Avatar – Live in Concert.

Alongside performing and composing, Anastasia is a dedicated and inspiring teacher, known for her open-minded approach to creativity. She mentors students both in-person and internationally through online lessons, helping them build confidence, discipline, and artistic freedom.

Continuing to expand her artistic portfolio across the UK and internationally, Anastasia performs on a French violin (c. 1900), generously lent to her by Benslow Music.

Anastasia is available for performances and collaborations across a range of musical genres. With a strong foundation in classical violin and extensive experience in a multitude of genres of music, she brings versatility, artistry, and professionalism to every project. Whether for concerts, events, or new compositions, her dynamic musicianship and creative approach make her a valuable addition to any musical endeavor.
